Just like the Audi A5 Sportback, the S5 Sportback

featur

es efficient TFSI technology. It has a

3.0 litre V6 TFSI engine that generates a power-

ful 245 kW. An innovative mechanical driven

supercharger system with intercooling is em-

ployed here and turns the 6-cylinder engine into

a compact powerhouse with moderate fuel

con-

sumption. This is assisted by the start-stop system

that

switches the engine off automatically in

different standstill situations, and switches it on

again when the brake is released. The S5 Sport-

back is available with the fast 7-speed dual clutch

S tronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive.

The peak torque of 440 Nm is sure to impress

you, as will the torque curve: with at least 90 %

of the maximum torque being available across an

engine speed range of 2,900 to 5,300 rpm.

Thanks to its spontaneous responsiveness and

exceptional power delivery across the entire

engine speed range, the 6-cylinder engine

promotes a particularly dynamic driving style.

That way, it accelerates the S5 Sportback from

0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
