58 Assistance systems
adaptive cruise control with full braking action under
30 km/h¹

²: automatic distance control (control range
30 200 km/h); working within system limits, it uses a
radar sensor to detect vehicles ahead and maintain this
distance by automatic braking and accelerating; 4 distance
levels and different driving modes can be selected
individually; including Audi pre sense front: the Audi braking
guard warns the driver about a detected imminent collision
with the vehicle in front through an extended brake assist
feature; also includes the function of maximum deceleration:
this is initiated at speeds below 30 km/h if there is a danger
of collision with a stationary or moving vehicle in order to
avoid this collision if possible.

Audi active lane assist¹: lane compliance assistant, helps the driver within system limits to keep comfortably in lane
(operating range 60 250 km/h). If the system is activated/ready and the driver has not operated the indicators, the
Audi active lane assist will guide the vehicle within recognised lane boundary lines by means of gentle, corrective steering
intervention; the driver can choose whether to be monitored continuously or just shortly before crossing the traffic lane
marker (choice of earlier or later steering time); additional steering vibration can be adjusted if the driver wishes
